In the coming weeks, everyone will be able to use this feature, the company said.

Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Meta, announced on May 22 that WhatsApp users could now edit messages within 15 minutes of sending them.

A message that has been edited will have the word "edited" next to it, informing the recipient of the correction without revealing its history. Like all private calls, media, and texts, your communications are encrypted end-to-end.

In the upcoming weeks, everyone will be able to use this function due to its global rollout.

Just one week after Chat Lock, a feature that allows users to password-protect certain private conversations, the edit feature for the instant messaging platform has been rolled out.

It was announced on April 25 that WhatsApp users could log in using up to four devices at the same time.

Earlier this month, Meta-owned WhatsApp announced a number of new features, including automated security codes, device verification, and extra checks when migrating accounts.
